Well, Mavs let go of Fin. Some team is going to be SO happy picking him up... stinks for the Mavs, though. Should shape up to ge an interesting season for the Mavs. If this turns out to be good for them, which I don't quite see yet, then it will be a pleasant surprise. Time will tell.
Rangers vs. Tribe - Rogers pitching, should be good since his last start was a little sub-par for him. I take Rangers 5-1.
Astros vs. Cubs - Maddux vs. Pettitte - Pettitte all the way. No brainer. Maddux has an ERA that is going up, not in his prime anymore, and Pettitte is strong right now. Astros over Cubs 4-2
Braves vs. Dodgers - Lowe vs. Smoltz - GREAT matchup. Lowe did well against the Pirates and got a ND, and Smoltz gave up 5 in 6 innings against the Cards for a loss. Still, in my mind Smoltz has more strength than Lowe right now, I take Braves over Dodgers 4-3.
