Clinton Lumberkings vs. Cedar Rapids

Clinton Lumberkings 7, at Cedar Rapids 6 (10 innings)
Win: Nelo (1-1, 2.70)

Blake Beavan (4.50 ERA) gave up homers in each of the first three innings. Six runs scored against Beavan, who didn't walk or strike out anyone. The bullpen trio of Ryan Tatusko (3 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 4 SO), Fabio Castillo (2 IP, 1 BB, 1 SO), and Hector Nelo (2 IP, 2 BB, 3 SO) shut out the Kernels over the last seven innings.

2B Renny Osuna has reached safely in 18 consecutive games, during which time he's batting .427/.500/.648. On Friday, he went 4-6 with a triple and three RBI, the last of which plated Engel Beltre (who had tripled) in the 10th. Jonathan Greene walked twice and singled, and Mitch Moreland (.296/.324/.459) was 2-4 with a double and walk.

Per the Beloit Daily News, Ian Gac was hit in the face with a foul ball on Tuesday and hasn't played since. The recap and radio feed from that night didn't note the injury; he might have been hit while in the dugout. He's not on the DL, so I'm optimistically assuming he's day to day. Tuesday was the bizarre multiple-balk game with injuries to Jose Felix and Matt Lawson.
