Game 7: Mavs at Lakers

I am a Mavericks fan... but this 2-4 start has really got me scratching my head. This team really should be 4-2 and not the other way around. The Lakers come into tonight with a 4-0 rcord as they play the Houston Rockets today and then the Mavericks on the 11th (in Dallas). Houston is a good matchup for the Lakers, as they come into the game with a 4-2 record...

And the Lakers took out Houston, so they are now 5-0.

Mavericks to Watch:
  • Dirk Nowitzki: 25.2 PPG; 7.2 RPG
  • Josh Howard: 17 PPG; 7.2 RPG
  • Jason Terry: 16 PPG; 91.3% FT; 4.3 APG
  • Jason Kidd: 10.5 PPG; 8.8 APG; 44.4% 3PT
Lakers to Watch:
  • Kobe Bryant: 24.4 PPG
  • Pau Gasol: 14.6 PPG; 11.6 RPG
  • Jordan Farmar: 10.2 PPG
  • Derek Fisher: 10.2 PPG
  • Andrew Bynum: 9.2 PPG; 2.8 Blks; 8.8 RPG

The Lakers have more weapons, the Lakers do whatever it takes to win... they do not care to share the ball (low amount of assists per game), so whoever has the ball is most likely to shoot the ball... and if the Mavericks figure that out, they could hand the Lakers their first loss.

Forecast: Mavericks give it a strong try, and still drop this game while falling to 2-5 on the season. Score: 105-99, Lakers.

i admit, it is a surprise to see Dallas and San Antonio at the bottom of their division. fortunately, the season is young. and please beat the Lakers!
