The Rangers won last night. That's five in a row, in case you're not counting. The magic number is 135. Some expected the Rangers to finish last. I wasn't one of them. A few picked the Rangers to win their division. I wasn't one of them. I did pick them to win the Wild Card. I'm drinking the KOOL AID.
The Rangers have announced the following minor league awards for the month of April:- PITCHER OF THE MONTH: Hickory righthander Wilfredo Boscan (2-1, 0.51, .100 opponents’ batting average, 15 strikeouts and three walks in 17.2 innings)
- PLAYER OF THE MONTH: Frisco catcher Manny Pina (a minor league-leading .481 batting average)
- DEFENDER OF THE MONTH: Hickory outfielder David Paisano (an errorless 16 games in center field with tremendous tools)
No forecast seeing as to how the game is in progress. Rangers are down 5-1 going into the bottom of the fifth. Go RANGERS!
