The Dallas Stars have agreed to terms with forward Fabian Brunnstrom on a one-year deal worth $675,000.
The team announced the deal prior to an arbitration hearing that was scheduled for Friday morning. The team had originally tendered a qualifying offer to the forward on June 15.
Brunnstrom, 25, scored two goals and nine assists in 44 games with the Stars last season. He has 19 goals and 21 assists in 99 career games.
The native of Jonstorp, Sweden was originally signed by the Stars in as a free agent in May 2008. On Oct. 15, 2008, Brunnstrom became the third player ever to score a hat trick in his NHL debut in a 6-4 win over Nashville.
