The Rangers have
signed outfielder Nelson Cruz to a two-year contract, covering the final two
seasons of his arbitration eligibility. Various reports indicate it’s a $16
million deal, with added incentives that could pay another
$500,000. The 31-year-old
will be a free agent at the conclusion of the 2013 season.
The Rangers have one
remaining arbitration case, catcher Mike Napoli.
The Royals agree to terms with Alex Gordon.

$16-million for 2-years is fair. Cruz is a great player... when he isn't injured.
