Game 118: Rangers vs. Baltimore

I like the bird with Ranger colors. It looks pretty flashy.
Disappointing opener in Baltimore, but a loss is a loss. Vicente Padilla gets back on the bump tonight, shooting for win number 13. His career best is 15 victories, compiled in his first year with Texas. He twice won 14 games with the Phillies.

The Rangers offense will face maddeningly inconsistent righthander Daniel Cabrera, who is 1-6, 6.33 lifetime against Texas, getting hit at a .295/.403/.518 rate.
Padilla isn't known for success against Baltimore. He is 2-4 with a 7.86 ERA against Baltimore. His last game against the birds, he gave up 8 earned runs in 2.2 innings. They hit .362 against Padilla.
Forecast: The Rangers are going to pick themselves back up with a win tonight. Padilla redeems himself from his last start against Baltimore and evens the series. Score: 5-2, Rangers.
