Game 36: Rangers vs Angels

The Rangers team ERA just keeps going down. The Rangers just keep winning. Yesterday, the Yankees still had the worst ERA in baseball. Life is good.

Now, the Rangers went 9-4 without Josh Hamilton. Does that mean they are better without him, as the numbers would suggest? No. He is showing signs of being healthy, and his numbers, although limited, already suggest that with a go-ahead homer in last night's game. I would expect those numbers to continue to be the case, showing his pre-DL trip to be a strong reason why he needed some time off to rehab. Now, Josh comes back to a team that is in first place and helps add to the 1/2 game lead, as the Angels dropped their game late last night (and late in the game, I might add).
This is a good game to go and see. Good thing I am... LORD willing. I am under the weather. At this point, I am undecided as to staying for the whole game or just taking the Josh Hamilton Bobblehead and watching an inning or two and going back home to crash. Anyway, the Rangers will leave the series against the Angels in first place. They are in first place as the hottest team in baseball right now. They are also doing this all with great pitching, great defense (Which Kinsler and Andrus are just stupid out there. They make impossible plays look like child's play.), and enough offense to get the job done.

I am not going to be bringing and negative MOJO. These are the two hottest teams in the American League, and the Rangers have shown they are worthy of a fist place position right now. And I am just going to leave it at that.
Forecast: When you are hot, you're hot. And the Rangers are just that... they aren't going to be dropping too many games right now. Padilla is coming on strong. Also, the Angels came into last night as a team who has hit into the fewest double plays this season with 16. They hit into three last night. The Rangers have some glove and they win this game (pending rainout) by 5-2.
